Old Catton is selling a neat line of 609 1st X B/L Merino ewes SIL to Wake Leigh White Suffolk rams. These ewes were scanned on the 23/3/24 with 485 singles and 124 twins to scan 120% in lamb-to-lamb June 24 for 6 weeks. These ewes were purchased in Dec 2023 from Grindstone Bay in Tasmania and have been bred out of Langdene, Okehampton and Roseville Park ewes by a Pleasant Park B/L ram. These ewes show good frame and with good feed will grow out into an excellent moderate framed breeder ewe. Old Catton select their rams on growth and easy birth. These ewes will excel given the right nutritional plan and will be solid breeders for years to come. Please note this line will be sold as 2 lines of 305.
