Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Predominately store to small percentage backward store condition. Given heifers are on good pasture but very wet conditions for grass to have a strong body the cattle are "slippery". It is expected that they would travel with at least one spell over 1000km. Heifers are all fresh, in strong condition. Recommend trucking at 35 to a deck therefore 2 deck in mob. Can be adjusted if purchaser buys both lots in this sale to suite B double unit.

Heifers were very good to handle through the yards and on scales. The temperament of the mob was exceptional. Well suited to a smaller operation with smaller paddocks if required. Small % became agitated but settled quickly back in mob. Heifers where calm to handle. Very good to walk around the yards at close distance as noted in the video.

Store condition, quality line of number 3 Heifers. Some suited to breeding and balance for backgrounding. Well handled group of heifers for smaller operations with very good temperament. Brahman and Droughtmaster crosses. Approx 35% flatback and 65% display hump. Colours include Red 50%, Honey 20%, Grey 9%, Brindle/Brown 18%, Black 3%. Heifers have mostly good confirmation and quality, contributing to medium frame carcass when fat. NO HGP. Vendor will guarantee clear of the dip if not cleared on the first dip (meaning vendor will pay hay cost and second dipping) another 40 steers on this property of similar breed to make up a B Double load if required. Suitable for trading to join to bulls OR to grow out to trade heifer on quality pasture.

By Brahman and Droughtmaster bulls out of Brahman and Brahman cross cows. Second round weaners from 2023 September weaning. Cows are located 500 km west of Malanda in speargrass breading country. Steers will perform well on quality fattening pasture.
